RICK'S BIO

Rick Freeman - Spiritual Teacher, Universal Healer, Founder of DolphinPond.com
Rick Freeman, who has spent a lifetime following a modern and ancient mystical path, is the founder of Dolphin Pond. He is a natural Shamanic Healer, inspired medium and open channel for transpersonal awareness and catalyst for transcendent healing. He has been practicing since receiving a major spiritual awakening at the age of 28, which was initiated by ascended masters who later foretold to him the nature of the national and global climate,  political, economic, medical and social changes to come which he has witnessed unfolding for over two decades and are now more obviously upon us.

Born an intuitive empath with multi-dimensional perception, clairvoyant and clairsentient, Rick remains grounded in the everyday world where he has also been a corporate manager, business consultant/coach and professional clinical chaplain/counselor. Some have called him a renaissance man for his eclectic adaptability.  Rick considers himself immersed in living a spiritual life, that includes the Source greater than us, which is an experience of being integral to his life. He does not consider himself religious, although he is ordained, a clinical chaplain and respects those for whom a religious path informs their life.

His empathic skills and highly sensitive energy perception are integral to natural abilities for deep listening, observation, conducting multidimensional shamanic practice, and unified consciousness for inspired speaking, which are always present as part of who he is and therefore all that he does.

Similarly, helping you become self-aware and actualize your own in-born potentials that make you precious and unique to this world is the kind of self-discovery that Rick facilitates for all who come to Dolphin Pond.

"Promoting healthy, integral living through Self-awareness
and creative confidence is our mission
."
                               Rick Freeman

Rick knew at a very young age that he was on a spiritual path. He could sense the presence of unseen beings, feel the real energetic relationships around him despite the words being expressed, had read all of The Bible Story Books and by the age of eight declared one day after going to church on his own, "I'm not going back there any more. They are not teaching me what I came here to learn." It would take two more decades of many more difficult struggles to try to fit in to a strange world, despite academic and career success, before he would be ready to begin the process of awakening.

Rick's life has been a living exercise in adapting to changing environments while becoming more conscious and more integral himself.  In this sense, he has spent a lifetime preparing to transimit secrets found on his journeys through inspired speaking, teaching, energetic presence and writing to be a catalyst for others who are inspired to become adaptable and integral players on the new earth. Rick is down-to-earth, accessible and very much a human being who is also adapting to earth changes as they come, but with years of head start in awareness and personal transformation he brings to assist you.

With the experience of a transcendent spritual awakening at the age of 28 while reading "Life After Life" (documenting near death experiences) by Raymond Moody, M.D., Rick finally admitted his own paranormal experiences and began having amplified multidimensional perception with profound understandings that came from nowhere but in instant complete awareness. Since then multitudes of synchronistic events, that could never be explained away by logic or chance, have taught Rick the value of living life intuitively from within.

It was after several more years of dynamic corporate management experience that the next phase of his awakening began with the arrival of a series of master teachers (ascended beings) that appeared to teach and guide Rick in his spiritual awakening. The direct communion and teaching took place over two and a half years, with the spiritual guidance continuing to this day.  In addition, Rick is guided by many other beings of advanced consciousness including archangels, interdimensional master healers and more, many of whom have been experienced directly by clients over the years.

"We live in an unlimited universe with more variations of life forms than we have numbers for counting. Stories have come down through the ages, in oral traditions and in written word, of encounters with nonordinary beings of extraordinary wisdom and abilities who became Self-realized human beings or appeared to humanity as our wiser ascended brethren or angelic-like beings to assist humanity toward its own awakening. Now is such a time but on a scale never before witnessed on earth."

The journey has not been easy. There were no special dispensations taking away his requirement to directly engage his own personal transformation and reconcile dischord within. For Rick, first embracing his ego as a facet of self, then transcending of his ego has been just as necessary and just as hard as for any human being. He has found that it is the key to arriving fully on earth, to engaging life completely and living in integrity in the ever-present now.

From his earliest memories of being conscous before birth while in the womb, Rick struggled consciously to reconcile the contradictory nature of living in this limited fearful world driven by social ego-mind. Doing this while being highly sensitive to the more real and obvious perception of true relationships and the soul's potential of each person as felt in their energy fields, has been his most challenging part of living. As other mystics and shaman around the world have described, it is like standing in three worlds at once: one the real world of true potential (the Higher Self), one the full expression of natural life (the Earth and Nature) the third being a world of delusion, shadows and superstitious beliefs where most people still think defines them (the Middle World). It is the first two which are now coming into focus on the new earth. The movement is toward a truly integral reality of the Higher Self manifest in harmony with the Earth and Nature as one.

Now, after an extraordinary journey into becoming more human with the help of countless teachers, seen and unseen, Rick has followed his intuitive spirit which has brought him to New York City to be a facilitator of conscious living for those now ready to awaken in the face of imminent earth changes.

In addition to writing, speaking and his shaman alchemist practice, Rick has founded DolphinPond.com. As Gandhi said, " We must be the change we want to see in the world." The human race is changing more rapidly than earth, which is merely reflecting in the outer plane of energy that which is happening on the inner planes of consciousness.

Rick brings no agenda to his spiritual work except to come alongside you, if invited, to meet you in compassionate presence with unconditional acceptance so that you may integrate all of the facets of your self and come to know the spirit that you are, let the wholeness of your light illuminate your life, and bless us in this world with your full and honest presence.

Rick received a B.A in Public Administration and Laws from the University of Washington which led to a dynamic and succressful career in collaborative business as a specialist in contracts management for major government and commercial contracts . He is a lifelong student who never tires of learning. Concurrent with work in business, he has studied human potential, philosophy, relationships, psychology, spirituality and new science for all of his adult years to become adept at interpersonal communications.

Ordained as a Cherag (meaning Light Bearer), Rick received his ordination after completing experiential mystical initiation at the interfaith School of Universal Worship for the Sufi Order International. Having also completed specialized clinical education as a Chaplain, he holds ecclesiastical endorsement for work in clinical settings. Rick's credentials include four Units of Clinical Pastoral Education (2 Level I + 2 Level II) at an accredited hospital, hospice combination in a full year residency. An Affiliate Member of the Association of Professional Chaplains, he has an additional three years in clinical hosptial and an additional year in clinical hospice spiritual counseling practice as a professional Interfaith Chaplain.  He specialized in ICU, hospice and palliative care plus interdisciplinary work in all units.

Licensed by the City of New York to perform weddings within city limits, Rick is also legally authorized to provide all services normally conducted by the ordained as permitted by law in any jurisdiction in the world. He has performed dozens of weddings, funerals, baptism and blessing ceremonies since 1991.

Although it is not the basis at all for Rick's teaching or universal healing practices, some people may want to know more about Universal Sufism to be reassured that there is no hidden religious agenda behind the teachings and services at Dolphin Pond. Universal Sufism is a mystical tradtion and the world's oldest known interfaith spiritual tradition which honors all religious, agnostic, atheist, or secular paths, people and things as integral to and part of one universal intelligence and one being. It was brought to the West by the renowned Indian musician and mystic, Hazrat Inayat Khan, in the early 20th century.

In order to fulfill credentialing for clinical chaplain designation, Rick searched for a recognized faith tradition, which would support his mystical, inclusive path, and honor his multidimensional shamanic experience. He found it, along with a progressive and loving spiritual family, in the Sufi Order. It provides a touchstone for Rick in his individual spiritual practice but carries with it no agenda.  Rick was also baptized in the Christian tradition by the Catholic Church at the age of 16 but left the church immediately after.

The Sufi tradition is known as "The religion of the heart," though many Sufi's themselves would not call it a religion at all, but instead a mystical path to Self-realization and integral living. The Sufi tradition has no dogmas or creeds to follow, and no judgement. Ethically, its understanding is based on recognition of the unity in diversity of the one being in which we are all elements; thus, what befalls one befalls us all. The Universal Worship service welcomes all people of all traditions, and includes readings and songs/chants from major world traditions as a celebration of one journey with myriad paths, toward the conscsiousness that is the One, the perfection of love, harmony, and beauty.
